I don't understand the extra $70 shipping, that's BS. Mine shipped for $35. I'd cancel the order if I were you - nothing seems right about it.
I ordered 2 weeks ago, part 15350077 or something like that for a pewter z71 grill. Apparently that was the old part number which i was not aware of, and the site lets me order anyway, and it was gonna be 288 shipped. Now they want 70 extra for shipping, and then me to pay the difference of the price of the grille which is like 30 bucks. So thats 100 more than i was originally gonna pay.

gm parts direct does business out of flow chevrolet in winston-salem north carolina. these people do not practice good business by any means. i bought a rear fender through them a few months back and they said it had to be ordered...ok, no problem. TWO WEEKS later they receive the fender and it is shipped out the door. two more weeks i e-mail them asking where my fender is and they tell me it was broken by the carrier. ok, yeah that sucks and it's taking a long time...but things happen. a week later i get an e-mail from them stating that they have ordered a new fender and it is on hand waiting to be shipped, however DHL won't ship this item, it's too big and we're going to have to use fedex freight. oh and by the way, that'll be an additional $80. first off, if DHL won't ship it the second time...why did they use them the first time. and second, why whould i the customer have to pay for the mistakes of the business? seriously, this company is a sack of burning crap waiting to be stepped on.

here's a starting point for you, call around and find your way to every manager possible if need be.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that got jerked around by them. I ordered the plastic intake for my truck from them back in November. Sent pictures with my correspondence through email to make sure it was the one I was looking for. I was told it was, but when I received it the cover was for the new '04 and up body style, so I was up the creek without a paddle cause I wasn't paying shipping to send it back. Than I just ordered 2 emblems for my FRC's on my Formula. When I placed the order, it was shown as a special order part. Nothing was mentioned about the part having to be shipped from GM to them before being shipped to me. After 2 weeks went by, I emailed them to find out where the order was. At this point, I was told the bit about it having to be ordered and shipped to them. It took another 2 weeks before the parts arrived on my doorstep 3 days ago.....4 days too late for the car show I'd ordered them for. I won't ever buy through them again and I'm telling everyone that considers buying from them to go somewhere else for parts.
