ALSO...there are some "top secret" photos of the new "Camaro" probably going to be called a Z28 ... if i can find them again i'll post them.. they look nice, kind of a retro look in the front and rear and an intresting mid-stream body style.. i'll find them in a little bit and post it...

oh yea, a few more points that i want to share.

when your sales are slipping, DON'T INCREASE THE DAMN PRICE!

when you market certain cars as performance, DON'T ASK 40K FOR THEM. average joe's can't afford a 40K sports car when the mustang GT is only 25K

we are about 2 years away from a new truck....

if gm would bring that version of the camaro to the market, would it sale? probably not, cause they would want 40K for the damn thing.

one good point that article stated was the fact that when GM brought the Equinox to the market, people were buying it. then instead of making it better, they gave it to pontiac to sell as something else. Now why share so many cars amongst GM subsideraries? why not keep and to one brand and make it better?

My take on GM is that they don't talk to the common customer. They are so impressed with how the Caddilac division is doing, they are forgeting about the common owner. They need to take a serious lesson from Ford and Dodge with their Performance Depts. 90% of the guys right here in this section could put together a better higher selling truck that the desk jockys at GM. SSR WTF was that even for? It's weak attempt at retro styling. Guys.....Retro has ha it's 15 minutes. The only reason it worked for the Mustang is because Ford has been there before, remember the Mustang II? They need to quit screwing around trying to make 50 versions of something and a 45K POS on wheels (SSR) and create a Performance Division where they can build the vehicles that the enthusiest like us want. Let the BLAND over paid out of touch with the customer suits keep pluging away on crap like the Cobalt, Sunfire, Buick(WTF do they even keep that division for?), etc....Keep on watching movies suits!!!! When you want a common mans point of view look around here, we will make you rich!

See, I don't call that retro, I call it a kick *** design with hints from the original. I believe a vehicle should evolve, not be redisigned. You know like Corvette.

This is exactly right. I dont know what GM is doing with the car line, but the new Mustang and some of Chrysler's cars are really kickin *** in the performance line.

Yeah... I hear ya. SSR was a joke... chevy doesnt stand well with the retro. And your right greggo, these guys here can make better trucks in under 6 months than anything that gm has produced recently.

I heard something about a re-sculpted avalanche.. idk... i gotta find some photos on that...

and besides the look... how much hp is tht new ford lighting making? a lot i know... and its a production vehicle! probably wont be $40K. The Titan is a pretty good looking truck.. a little bulky.. but under the hood.. its pretty stout. And.. that honda truck .. the ridgeline.. wait wait.. im sorry... i promised myself i'd never said Honda and truck in the same sentence again ... lol i dont like them pretty fugly and weak if ya ask me...

all and all.. i hope gm does something... lets go apply for jobs... where's parish, flyer, whoever else.. lets go get jobs at the design department, lol.

I believe it. I'm not real impressed with GM's latest offerings. In fact I think alot of thier new line up sucks to honest. I'd buy my Silverado all over again and if I had the money I'd buy a Corvette but other than those two, I'd seriously look elsewhere for my new car. For instance who REALLY wants a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE V8 Monte Carlo SS? The front ends for thier minivans are terrible. They took the same body style they've been running for a few years now and put on what looks to be a bad take on a Durango front clip. They have some major problems to iron out because they are starting to lose even their strong customer base.
