Default General Questions... (real short n' quick)

Just a few questions about some stuff...

If i was to buy a Tranny temp gauge... explain to me where I place the temp sensor, is it on one of the sending lines that comes off the raidator, also... when i buy the gauge, does it all come togetther as a kit so it will sense the temp? I'm not real savy on the gauges and what not...a link to one for sale from a sponser would be nice... (dub silverado... you can jump in any time you'd like, i kno you kno something about this, lol.)

Another thing... What is a recommened adjustable fan thermostat... My fans are turning on around 170 degrees but I hardly ever get to that temp.. unless i sit and idle for 30 mins, I just thought maybe it'd be a good idea to have it adjustable at my finger tips.. so a link to a good adj, fan thermostat for a good price would be helpful... and if its not a sponsered link than just shoot me a pm...

Thanks in advance

as for the tranny temp gauge there is a pipe plug on the housing on the drivers side above the neutral safety switch. towards the front. remove the plug and screw in the sensor that comes with the kit. as for the fans. hayden-derale-delta current control-dakota-painless all make adjustable fan controllers. i have used the hayden-delta and derale ones. i ended up with a nelson harness and loved it.
