Exactly what pewterZ71 said. Pull off the TB. You'll probably see EGR residue on the back of the blade and around the sides. Clean all this buildup off with a rag and carb cleaner or some other strong solvent. Then LIGHTLY polish up the area around where the blade closes with some fine steel wool. This objective isn't to remove material, just make a tad better fit.

I will say that after polishing my TB, the problem takes longer to return and doesn't get as severe. Just a thought.

They make a spray that is specifically for throttle body cleaning. I got some made by 3m, but i'm sure there are many others. It may just be carburetor cleaner with a different name and marked up price???? It was about $5.

okay for lack of knowledge, anyone got a pic of the specific screw that I should adjust. Im sure I could go out and find a number of them to crank at, but I want to make sure Im movin the right one. If anyone can snap a pic it id appreciate it. Ive got to get this done before it causes any further problems! Thanks for all the info!!!
