I always get those as rentals from my local stealer. They run okay for being what they are. It is small, easy to park, don't care if gets dinged up, MPG city, etc. Great cheap car!

The ones I drove had a 2600rpm flash stall on the converter too! I don't think I've smoked more tires going around corners than in those cars.

(I dont know much about these cars ). Well he beat me off the line by about a lenght (those supercrews are freakin heavy ), but once it started moving, I started gaining on him. By about 90 his front bumper was at my rear bumper. I dont know if it was a 2.2 or 2.4 but I remember that it was yellow. Im leaning more to a 2.2 since it had wheelcaps. You guys judge on how fast those cars are.

ya all the dum *** ricers think trucks r slow, i hate that. anyway, the 2003 cavaliers all have the new ecotec 2.2 engine. its got 140hp and supposebly not too shabby

not saying that i actually care about my times in this car but, dont under estaimate
a good driver. i use this ride as a my DD since it gets around 30mpg on the highway
which about 10+mpg than i get in my truck.

My dad has a '99 Sunfire 2.2 with the 3spd auto and my brother has a '97 with the 2.2 and 5spd....BOTH are WAY slower than my truck (my dad's with the 3spd is downright pathetic), my brother is a GOOD stick-shift driver and I can wax him everytime from a stop, it's the same way from a roll on the highway....even playing tag with him behind me trying to pass I can pull on him hard enough that he can't pass me

I realize that I have bolt-ons and tuning...but his CAI and cat-back exhaust have to be doing SOMETHING for him too don't they??

but your comparing a 2.2 to a 2.4 thats like a difference of 3 seconds. so i think
if you would run a 2.4 5 speed you'd have a hard time. if you did beat him it would
be close. give the 2.4 some mods and then have at it. not saying your truck is slow
but HP to weight ratio is the key.
Z-24 cav=150hp at around 2800lbs
your truck =???hp at around 6000lbs

just do the math.
