best o luck with it and keep us informed.
and if youre 13.1 A/F with 32* of timing and 100% duty cycle your just buying time

what do you mean buying time? you think thats a bad configuration? charlie knows the software so he can mess with the afr without the wide band but im getting that put in monday so that'll be taken care of and not thats its really any difference but its actually 31* timing. i dont drive the truck hard much at all so it should be alright. i think optimum AFR would be 12.9-13.1 correct? and then once i get that dialed in correctly start fooling with the timing, is that what you're saying? what do you mean by buying time?

DOnt get too crazy with the line pressure in the trans barking the tires on a 3-1 downshift with heavy *** 20s isnt good for the weak *** 60e. Just a word of advice I have already been down that road.

we didnt up the line pressure in the PCM. just the HD2 kit with zero washers. but yea i understand what you are saying. i still have a little bit of TM just for the s&g's you know. but it doesnt bark them on the 1-2 up shift which is something that im totally alright with anyways i dont want to up the line pressure even if its said to be safe in moderation, im alright

Good deal then man trans swaps arent fun and it seems you have had enough problems already I just dont want ot see you break anything else and get rid of the truck cause ur tired of messing with it

yea i know what the deal is with the VE table and the STFT's get reset everytime the engine gets shut off and it has to relearn that it needs to pull 13-16 fuel accross the board to get it to idle. the fuel trims are all messed up with the VE so we are going to log that and get it as close to zero as possible. what happens when you go over 28* ? i dont quite follow you, charlie seemed to think it was totally alright and i trust his input...BTW, sierra, what mods do you have? id like to be somewhere in the 13's, never been to the track, charlie said our trucks were similar

pull out fuel by leaning motor out and then reduce timing i wouldnt be 31* of timing at 100% duty cycle on injectors. your on borrowed time, dont have duty cycle past 85%
