Default Full potential!!

Well i guess ive reached the full power of my setup and no matter what i try, besides weight reduction, its staying the same ET. For the last few months ive been toying with it, and no matter what change in gear and tire it seems to stay in the 11.9 - 12.0 range. Got dynotuned last week and today it wasnt wanting to make the 2-3 shift "hitting rev limiter", i had to get completely off the throttle, allow a little time for shift and get back in it. Went a best of 12.09 today with a 1.62 - 60'. Best 60' today was 1.57, but was first pass and didnt know it would hit the rev limiter on the shift and not make the shift.

Guess the easy ride is over, now i gotta buy more parts....lol!!

What is your setup? That is a very good time. I would be happy to break into the 11's.

have you tried running a 28x10.5x15 tire with the 4:88 gears?

i don't think youre at your limits just yet, for one that cam could be better, whats the full spec's on it? need bigger long tube headers, also fully port the heads, not saying cnc them im talking a true hand port by a company that knows how your top end is there, just need to finish it up

i would be afraid of not having enough rpm to cross the traps with a 28" tire on the 4.88's so no i havent tried it. Yea thats kinda what i was meaning, for what i have at the moment as far as mods its reached its potential, i could go changin things like you mentioned, which i am..lol.

Guess my next purchase will either be a built tranny or circle d verter, which ever decides to be a problem first.

Hey also check out my video in the dyno section
