i am looking to shorten my truck up using a 06 short bed(5.75) but i cant find info on the fuel tanks, i know in about 06 they made some EC's with the shorty bed but they would of had to use a different tank as the rear axle is about 10" forward of the ECSB(6.5)........anyone have pics/info of these tanks, or any other aftermarket tank that would fit the stock location, thanks

 

I seen a truck a few weeks ago with what looked like a tool box in the bed but was really a fuel cell...pretty cool! also it allows equal length true duals as well.

 

Just install the short crew tank and you will be good to go. To be honest with you while under my old body 07 short crew there was enough room for a much bigger tank than what it had in it.
