So I was driving home from work cruising at 45mph when my engine surged and the truck jumped. I came to a red light and when my foot was on the brake pedal, the truck surged and tried to jump forward into the car infront of me. So I took it home and later took it out again to see what it was, when it surged 2-3 times then quit. I could not get it started. Fuelwas not getting to the motor. I filled the tank from the 1/4 tank it was at, to a 1/2 tank and it started and ran shitty for about 10 seconds then shut off. Then I beat the **** out of the tank and it started. Idrove it home and it was fine. Then I drove it around my neighborhood and it jumped again. So now it sits. Im guessing the fuel pump, but im not sure, does anyone know?

 

i just replaced my fuel pump it did bout the same as your truck but mine would start then cut right back off till it stop all together so my quess is fuel pump mine was about 300 dollars
