Default fresh build...

On a freshly built engine in this case it's an lq4 cammed, valvesprings, etc. how long would I need to lay off the gas pedal so it can break-in properly? Is it better to break-in an engine with synthetic or reg. oil? oh yea the 4l60 on it is also freshly build..., just looking for suggestions.
Thanks!

some people say 5k miles some say 3k miles others say first oil change, and my favorite is "3 passes on the dyno" lol.

Break it in on regular oil

Great because I already put reg. oil, lol on 3 dyno passes. I'll probably start driving it by tomorrow. I guess I shall wait 5k miles just to be on the safe side before going all out.
