Not a whole lot of damage but still sucks, could of been worse. How'd it turn out for the deer?

well the deer didnt make it, wabbled off about 100 yards into the woods and collapsed. Going to talk to insurance tomorrow about fixing it. I hope they cover my painted front end/ speed grill/ billet bowtie, and not just replace them with stock parts. Then I'd have to start over again. Has anyone ever had any experiences where they had damage to their vehicle in an area where customization was done, then tried to do an insurance claim on it? For instance, those of you who have a molded in roll pan like I do, since it's aftermarket.........will they pay to fix it like it was or will they only pay for a rear bumper to be put back on it? I guess it depends on your insurance agency...
input greatly appreciated

My wife killed one on the way back from our honeymoon last year. I was on my way to a job interview. Then I killed one in my beloved 86 Monte SS. Well, it gave me an excuse to buy the Z28. I wish the hunters would thin the heard out a little. Too many hunters don't want to kill a doe. They want the big buck.

**** that, I take out whatever's in my sights. I'll take out a small doe before the rut, but try not to take out any doe's after the rut being they might be holding "The big buck".

And I joined the club 2 sunday's ago. Was on my way home from my parents house when I saw doe cross the road. I slowed down and thought "Hey, check for the 2nd one" I didnt even finish my thought before the 2nd doe came hard outta the tree line. Broke her neck, back and leg, on top of a few ribs. She went maybe 15-20 yds.

The damage she did to the truck was busted AC condensor, grille, crossbar, headlight assembly, bug shield, bowtie, hood latch support. Im glad this is a 91 and not a newer truck, im sure the damage would've been worse.

Correct. Take it to the dealer and have them give you estimates bases on their highest price. To fix my rear bumper I was quoted 1K. I made quite a bit on that deal since I had the person pay out of pocket.
