Here's my best Trout to date, this was about 10 years ago. Started fishing this hole in a creek during a rain storm while we were camping. I had gotten snagged two times before and thought this was a snag also, I yanked the rod which set the hook and the fight was on. It took me about five minutes to land him, the creek was flowing hard and I was using an ultra light rod with 4 lb test, this German Brown was 23.5" long and 5 lbs..

Nice fish man. What the big bass weight. I fish in a local bass club here and my biggest is 7 lbs. in a tournament. My son go's to if I don't draw a partner and love's it especially when he catches one to weight in.

the one in the 1st pic is about 6 lbs. that came from a private pond. i caught a 7 pounder in that pond before, but i was by myself. the biggest bass i have caught was 7lbs 12oz., but that was at my cottage. all those bass that i have mentioned came on black and blue jig-n-pigs. the day i caught the 7-12, i also caught 2 bass that ech weighed 6 lbs 3oz. if you take the 3 biggest largemouths that i caught that day, it would of = exactly 20 lbs. would of been a nice stringer for a bass tourney. i started fishing bass tournaments since i was 15 years old, but kind of got out of it. i can't find a partner to fish tourneys with. at the age of 17, i received the lunker award in a tournament that i fished in. i caught a 5.75 lb bass on a rat-l-trap and it was the biggest fish out of the 102 guys fishing the tourney. i won $510. only time i won something. the fished regurgitated 13 sawbellies in the livewell before i weighed it in. i bet it was well over 6 lbs when i caught it. later i found out you could weigh the baitfish along with the fish it came from. oh well. my dad used to sell bassboats (Rangers). here is mine
