1st time ever!!!
best out of 7 that night,

100% STOCK
2004 CHEVY RC 2WD G80 locker
No Power Adders
Tires stock
No bolt on's

R/T .792
60' ------
330' 6.389
1/8 9.764
1000' 12.700
1/4 15.220
MPH 89.0


Iwas sleepin at the tree, Big Time all night
Is this a good run for a stock truck?

Not bad ... WIsh I knew what the 60' times were though.

If you're getting some traction, try launching from about 1200 rpm.

Go on the last yellow light.

I was launching at (i think) above 2000rpm.
I need some more practice, i was doin all right by the end of the night but it was getting too cold. like 42 degrees.

I let it do the shifting, I did try to do it manually but it didn't like shifting out of 2nd at 6k and i had to let off.

Try power braking it to 1200, then launching. That might get you a little better 60' time. Try it on the street a little.

stock that's a good time, better then my 16. my 20's killed my times.

I am hoping mine will run that around sea level. Hopefully I will get a chance to head to Sac soon and try.

I've been talking about 'downgrading' to 18's and I'm getting ragged on by the Silverado SS guys.

I do like the look of the 20's... but I'd rather be faster than flashy.
