Default first oil change question

i searched without any luck...

i got my iron ls1 back from the machine shop...again...first time around i spun the #1 rod @ 700 miles.

i just changed my oil @ 300 miles and my oil has a silver tint like i was sorta expecting BUT, there is two or three tiny specs of copper in the bottom of my oil change pan. very tiny. you have to twirl the pan around to get the light on it just right in order to tell its copper...

im using stp oil filters and 5w-30 mobil 1 super 5k conventional

this is technically my second change. did my first one maybe 10 min after first start up.

my question is what kind of break-in material should i get in my oil? are these copper specs gonna turn into chunks?

i suppose it is possible that even tho i flushed and scrubbed the holy hell out of my oil pan this could be residue from the last engine? all i know is im really stressed out.... lol

please help

i had alot more copper than it sounds like you got when i broke my motor in. i used royal purple break in oil and it was nasty when i changed it. After like two oil changes and 3 filters its all clean.
