Huh?
I'm not sure if I really understand your question.

Can a NA truck compete and beat a FI truck? Sure. Who has the best:
Power/Weight
Gear
Launch

im not really looking for people saying a n/a truck can beat a fi truck. i know its possible that why i started this thread. im looking for between the two trucks listed who do you think would win?

i know i will be making more power but i will also be pushing more weight.

yeah i know he had more CC's then the 5.3. i was just using vicred and 03gmc as a example of a n/a vs fi. it was a bad example though.

I think it will be close

I thinking I might get him out of the whole, (stall) but other than that just a matter of time before he gets me... that is sayin if I even do get the jump on him!

He was runnin the when we last raced compared to what i have
3200 stall Level-4 trans
pacesetters
t-stat
e-fans
3.73
nelson tune

myself
nelson tune
e-fans
3.42
2002 injectors (woopie)

from 20 mph roll till 100mph I bet him 2 for 2
through 2nd gear is where the truck started to pull from him......

I dont know

i'm thinking hes got you by a little but its def. gonna be close.

hes got a cam and a stall so he's gonna hit outa the gate hard and i think your 80E just might suck up enough power to keep you down. plus you have the added weight of the 4WD.

either way its gonna be a good race. if i were you i might just put on a smaller pulley to even thinks out.

Well you must be missing something, I have ran a S/C rcsb truck with same boltons and cam gears everything the same, same weight reduction as well and it was a close race.

The NA setup with the cam, stall and more favorable first gear will put miles on the FI setup off the line. If he can hold the edge down track he'll take the win.

Should be a fun race to watch! Good luck fellas.
