Default FI truck vs. NA truck which will be faster?

SimpleManLance Vs. TRXMXZX

both trucks are hoping to be done by spring and will be lined up then. till then who do you think will win in a race, 0-100mph. im thinking TRXMXZX might beat me due to the fact that his setup has been proven by muliple members. as far as my setup i think i will be the 3rd person on here with a powerdyne/FMIC and im not sure what it will do.

2000 GMC sierra Z71 ECSB
stock 5.3
pacesetter long tubes and ORY
Cutout
flex-a-lite fans
3.73 with eaton
160 stat
powerdyne supercharger 6PSI with a custon FMIC
42# injectors
4l80E stock stall
EFI live

VS.

1999 GMC sierra ECSB
2004 5.3
tr220 112
fuddle 3200 /shift kit, servo 4l60E
3.73 with eaton
pacesetter with ORY
electric fans
intake
cutout
nelson mail tune

well, he has a stall and a little less weight than you <the 4x4 diff> and i think the 4l80 will have a bit of a different shift pattern for you.... i would say him...but who knows?

what kind of boost is he running? if he runs 5-6 psi you guys should still be close...
only way to really know is to do it and see!!

and make a video.

The powerdyne truck will win no doubt. Powerdyne doesn't have the best reputation for making power, but it will definetly make way more than just a cam swap, which is basically the biggest differences in the trucks. Yes the 4x4 and 4l80e will play a factor, but not big enought to make much of a difference IMO.

hrmm this could be interesting, need to find a rcsb 5.3 with same mods as me with a S/C'er and see who would win.

yeah, your right....just seems as tho the s/c truck would win def because the two have basically the same mods, same engine (4 yrs apart, no biggie), but the one has a s/c and the other has a cam...i'd take a S/C over a cam anyday

well, his was a ls1 and yours is an lm7 im assuming...maybe if the guy you were racing had an ls1, then yes he might win, but he has a 5.3 also
