A few appearence mods for the Sierra HD
#1

I've had a really busy year and found that I didn't detail the truck since I got it in November of last year. So, I throughly emptied it out and did alot of cleaning inside and then applied two coats of Zaino to protect it from the New England winter. Borrowed some Zephyr Pro 40 to take all fo the exhaust residue off of the bumpers (they were BLACK!). This stuff also worked great on the tips. The 22" Weld Evo wheels were replaced with a set of 20" MB Gunner 8 wheels wrapped with 305/50/20 Nitto Terre Grapplers. I'll be riding on these for the winter and they are big enough to clear the 16" Wilwood brake package that will be going on soon.
I then finally installed the HIDs (had them sitting for months). I used 6000k kits for the low and high beams. Also wired the fog lights to come on with the low beams. All of these lights stay on when the high beams are activated. It's like daytime when I turn those on!
That finished this for now. The brakes will probably be one of the last mods for this truck for awhile. The calipers will be powdercoated red so they will look really good behind either set of wheels.
Oh, in case you can't tell (no badges), this is a diesel

I've never noticed where the chrome strips stop on the various trucks. Now your going to have me looking
I wanted to put this truck up in the air when I bought it. Had the 9" lift and wheels sitting on a pallet for awhile. I later decided that it would be better for me to keep the stock ride height. I liked my lifted Silverado but there were some issues (local police, ride quality and it was a pain to put things in the bed).
