I tried the v-bands and the don't work. There's an application called the ball & joint, and that's working for me. Anything not to weld, so incase you want to change the exhaust at a later point in time.

I used a cutoff wheel and got a clean edge and used a pipe spreader to make a slip fit, then used band clamps... That was on a different setup but I don't see why it wouldn't work for these too...
