I have a rclb with a 4.8, and with out the 20's on and just my steel stokers I absolutly blow away my buddy's 03 hd2500 with the 6.0 in it. With my 20's I just barely pull away.
Now my truck vers my other buddy (rclb 5.3) mine just starts to pull him in the uppers.

Has nothing to do with the motor size or type. It was a crappy tune that killed your motor or you did something bad lol.
My 5.3L handled 14psi for quite some time before I sucked up all the ater. hehehe
