Thumbs down Fast LSXrt Intake install questions

Having some issue installing my new Fast LSXrt intake.

First had to remove my steam vents that connected to all 4 corners.
Then install the button head valley bolts on my ls6 valley.
now it seems as if the knock sensor wires and/or the lip on the heads above intake ports are blocking it from seating completely.

So I am going to be taking a dremel to the underneath of the intake to make room for the wires, and then grinding on the lip on the heads for fitment.

One main question, my intake came with a cylindrical hollow metal stud on each side of the intake in the middle near where the intake bolts meet the heads.

Do I need to remove these studs for proper seating or leave on?

Any other tips or hints, because this install has been nothing but annoying and am not far from attempting to return the intake because it just doesn't fit like I feel it should.

Not to mention bought the OE fuel rail adapter kit and modified it according to instructions and the brackets just interfere with fuel rail seating into intake. So cut my fuel rails, and will end up using zip ties to actually hold it down. Ridiculous...

I have one on my 05 LQ4(front steam vents only) and all I had to do is add the button head valley cover bolts and it fit right on. You need to make sure the knock sensor wires are routed in a way to not interfere.

I reused the stock steam pipe but modified it to sit the opposite way. Also I duct taped the knock sensor wires individually flat against the valley plate. Hope this helps.

I ended up trimming some of the underneath to allow nothing to hit with the knock sensors and the ls6 valley.

The steam vents that came on mine went to all 4 corners, not just blocked off at the rear and with the ls6 valley, it would not fit so ordered an aftermarket steam vent kit for it to fit properly.
