Default Ever feel bad for ragging on your truck??

I have 2001 Chevy r/c s/b with the 5.3 in it that has about 61,000 miles. I just got it about a month ago and switched to mobil 1 synthetic oil. Me being 20 years old, I sometimes feel the need to get on it. And after everytime I do it, I just wanna kick myself. I dont do it that often, but will romping on it ocasionally really really effect the life of the engine and transmission that much? I know cars now days are built to handle the abuse of stop and go driving. I want my truck to last. I need some opinions guys. Thanks in advance

Gen III motors can take anything stock. Don't feel bad. These motors are engineered to take more abuse than I could imagine. As far as the tranny; I'm sure a couple of fellas will tell you their stories.....

I feel bad... I either drive pretty slow, or like an idiot. I push corners as hard as I push the truck in a straight line. My whole truck is doomed.

every stop light a 0-60 test, every construction zone is road racing practice, every newly paved parking lot is signature time.
