I saw one 3 nights ago in town with a chrome tailgate handle and regular trim piece. It might have just been silver paint though. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Thanks guys. Yeah, they are the smooth handles. They come out of the box with a shiny black finish. I scuffed them up with a 3M "green pad" and gave them two coats of "Duplicolor Storm Gray" and two coats of clear. Will it last? Only one way to find out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> The color isn't a perfect match, but it's close enough for a farm truck. My buddy who is colorblind thinks it looks good. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Hey you're pretty brave using spray paint on those. Stay away from pressure washers!! I learned that the hard way with my step side covers.
