Default with equal launch will lowering gain any ET?

thinking about droping my truck a hair with some shackles and loosen tortion bars, i can go 1" in the front and either 1 or 2 in the rear. my question is assuming my launch doesn't change would there be any gain in ET due to less wind resistance? would it be so slight as to have virtualy no effect? whats everyone think?

i plan on geting some new tires that will be 1-2" less in diameter also.

i am looking hundreths here, every little bit helps but if there is no ET at all to be gained i might not do it. the look either way would be the same to me, no prefrence.

also thinking about some 285 pirelli's, seems like 20mm of extra tire at each corner should help me hook a little better. anyone have any oponions on how much they might help. got some nearly new stock firestones on there now and they suck, worse than the same bald firestones that i had.

i would guess there'd be a little difference but not very noticeable. you could do like the vettes and fab up some lightweight plates to put under the truck so its like one big flat plane to smooth out the airflow...
