Ok i have to sell my WS6 becuase my insurance just increased to $320 a month for no reason other than i live in California. So i'm buying a truck. Which engines (chevy and gmc) in trucks are ls1 based? Is it all the vortecs? Just the 5.3-6.0 or what? I still want an ls1 in my ride, even if it is a truck. Oh yah, Progressive insurance can die.

 

Thats the peoples republic of California! All new body style trucks (99-up) have the gen III ls1 based motors.
