Default efan trouble

Ok so a while back i picked up an 06 crew z71 to screw around with and just be a truck. Recently the temp gauge started fluctuating a lot and was very inconsistent. I assumed thermostat and replaced it. Still had the same issue. Did some google research and checked the coolant temp sensor wiring and plug. Replaced sensor with new from gm. Crazy gauge trouble gone. During all of this and monitoring temps through scan tool noticed temps climbing to 210 and higher. By the book it says efan should turn on low at 202 right? In short one im getting at it my efans only come on if you turn on a/c. I have read a few things saying it could be the pcm. I Anyone ever had this kind of problem? or have a solution

I don't know what book your reading, But the factory E-Fans don't turn on until 226*F They turn off at 219*F

Well that's why I'm here asking, I've done some reading, searching and asking and received different answers. I read low speed on at 202, and somewhere else 220 and high at 226. If what I'm seeing is normal than it's all good. Right now through the scan tool it stays 204 -208. The reason i was concerned it got hot and started puking coolant the other day. If you tell me my temp it right then we are good no worries.

Thanks for the help
