Default Efan install?

For those that have LS1 fans, how did you mount them to the radiator? Is a separate thermostat needed?

I used those black pull ties and put the foam on between the fans and radiator to keep them from rubbing. Also, do you mean a seperate thermostat to turn the fans on? If so it depends, if you are using a VSC only then you will have to use one, but if you are getting them turned on by the PCM via a tune, then I dont think you will need one.

I've got a harness from Nelson Performance, so they will be activated by the pcm.
