Default Efan advice...

I installed my flexalite fans last Feb using the crimp hardware provided in the kit. Yesterday they quit working on me (naturally it was 110deg!!). I found that one of the crimp connectors had oxidized/corroded enough over time that it completly broke. Of course I could'nt get to this without pulling the unit out. Not a big deal except it was 110deg outside!!
So solder and shrink tube all the connections you can and save the crimp connectors for radio work or something that does'nt draw 30amps...

I've had the same problem before,it's aways better to solder and shrink wrap.At least you were driving instead of a wife or daughter who would have run the truck until it stopped, instead of watching the guages. There's nothing like a cell phone call saying it just quit daddy I don't know what happened the red light came on and it just quit.
