Allen Nelson=free updates, well it seems they did a better job on you, just heard too many shitty stories about that place to want to have any dealings with them. I wasnt saying your tuner straps the cars on the dyno, I was just stating that to show the caliber of people they hire.

yea well i guess i was lucky, hopefully as i get retuned the platform they set will hold up, i guess the truth will be told on how well they can get the 226 F4 tuned.... as long as i can drive it to the shop from whereever i get it installed on my LS6 cam tuning... im leaning towards paying them 750 to install everything so they may be more dedicated in doing all the tuning trial and error. i'd like it done right the first time

Most trucks IMo wont benefit from the same setup as far cam to stall speed ratio. If it was cutting 2.0 60s then its pulling out of the hole well. I was putting down 1.9s on a 100 shot with a TCI 3K intake exhaust and tune.
dude i pulled 1.97 on street tires and a 5.3 with stock converter and stock suspension just lowerd some. no traction devices at all

reaction time has nothing to do with anything else in racing except cutting lights. i can bump the stage beam and sit there for an hour and still pull off the same runs as i did before.

just saying know your truck and it will work for you

all i used to do is stab the throttle back off then nail it, it was either a bite or spin situation but did net me consistant 60's. i did have only 15psi in my tires, they say not to but hey it worked for me along with doing a nice heavy burnout with the dry rotted tires.
