The cam installer must be the ****

The truck must be a fluke then, the trucks that I have ridden in, and read about here need a 3K for a 222ish cam and add 200rpm for every 2*s.
Matt you know what Im talking about as far as having too small of a stall is the 3K absolutely perfect or could it use a little more stall, I would bet it needs another 200-400 to be perfect.

We'll see what it does on the track Friday. And it also pull me by 4-5 lengths and kept pulling before my cam/stall swap. (and my truck ran 13.40s then)

Pacesetters, intake, and a cutout. I drove the truck on street tires a couple weeks ago and it went 13.90 @ 99mph with me having to feather it out of the hole becuase it was spinning. I think it cut a 2.0 or 2.1 60'

Dude, the beer goes in the converter duhhhh
No, it feels perfect, and yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. Went from that same exact (down to the chips in the paint that got re-painted) converter to a TB and it would pull then kick in. Jarreds from what I could tell just pulls.

i know my truck comes out of the hole harder with the 224/224 cam vs the 00 vette cam. i am running a fuddle 3200 converter with a 2.2 str. on nitrous i never could compare the 100 shot on the two difference cams, i really wish i had the jets to run a 100 shot out of the hole (someone (white1) lost the bastards) so i never had the chance to compare or else i could really see a difference. i figured i would have a lot more pull up top on this cam on motor but to be honost i am unsure.
before this cam my tune was shitty and the converter was locking up as soon as it hit third. this time around, my tune is good and the converter didn't lock up as soon as it hit third. i know it did pull harder up top vs before based on previous time slips. but then again, i have a lot of variables to consider so i won't say it was the cam. i am thinking of advancing it 4 degrees and then testing again. i still have a set of heads to add to the combo. who knows. maybe i'll see a 13.6 on motor. lol i won't say the cam is too big, but it takes a good tuner to play with it. thank goodness i have one that knows whats going on.
