Its plenty of stall for that cam, One of my buddies ran a 3k with a 228/230 cam and it was perfect. Im running a 3000 with a 224/224 .581/.581 112lsa and could easily go bigger if I wanted to while keeping the 3000 converter

how do you like that cam? i was thinkin about it but wanted to go faster and bigger if my fuddle 3200 would supprt it i just know bigger isnt always better cam wise but i figure the stall would pretty much cover streetability and all.

Once again dude you have more CI and a higher CR it makes ALL the difference in the world. You are comparing apples to oranges not to mention he has an ecsb where you have an rcsb. Kinda misleading recommendation.

I ran a 3Kish Fuddle in my truck with a 222/224 112 and it needed a 3200 or 3400 to really haul *** out of the hole. That is a more fair comparison.

Yea, but my buddy is running a 226 in a ECSB 5.3L with a TCI3000 and it yanks HARD out of the hole. I think its the perfect setup.

I think it will be just right IMO. And you are correct, bigger is not always better.
