Yeah, got a little orange. Perry showed me that when you were on the dyno. Got screamin' orange prety quick.

great vid, great results, but parrish is this still considered a street truck or a drag truck? if you havent run pump gas in a while, i assume you have another daily driver (or stock in VP race fuel!)

i didn't tell the hot rod guy it was a daily driver. i told him it was daily driveable. i probably drive it 3-4times a week and put at least 200miles a week on it but i dont drive it to work everyday. in the last month i put at least 1500miles on it and they were all hard miles. last weekend i bet i put over 500miles on it. it seems to be dependable. i get 118fuel for $4.00/gallon. i run that mixed with 92 and that is about $2/gallon so my fuel costs $3/gallon. not too bad if ya ask me and with mixed driving i get about 13-14mpg.

actually i have never read that hot rod mag. i just follow your posts. probably better info. i was jsut wondering because fuel costs would be crazy if you drove it to work everyday. btw, where do you get your 118 octane for 4 bucks a gallon? i am gonna ahve to start buying it by the container for my LT1 buildup.

oh and great vid. my friend used to own that shop before he sold it. i was one of the first people to break that dyno in

Ummmm... exactly whos definition of daily driveable is that? If you want to drive to another town you have to find out if there is a station that sells 118 fuel?

This daily driven label needs to be dropped!

when i am going to be away from the house i carry extra fuel. it's not real hard to plan for. the truck even gets decent miliage for as quick as it is.

a 1/4 turn of the boost **** and i am on a 450rwhp+ pump gas setting. and like i said, i never told them it was daily driven. i told them it was daily driveable. anyways, i bet i put more miles on my truck than 1/2 the people around here.

every week i tell my self i am going to turn it down a notch and drive it all the time but it seems like every week there is some kind of event coming up.
