"This daily driven label needs to be dropped!"

I don't think so, Parish could just turn down the boost for the daily commute and run 93 octane. Then fill up with his race mix when he wants some street or track action. If the guy puts ~200 miles on a car per week I will say thats daily driven. Some people don't put 200 miles per week on their "commuter" car going to work.

The "daily driven" label is just a term to describe reliability in my eyes... But who the hell am I...

200 miles a week? Maybe out in Podunk, USA. Ask Blownchevy how many miles he drives in a day.

wrong.

I rode with him a month ago from his house (Omaha, NE) to Hastings, NE (150 miles away). We cruised for a good 20 miles after filling up with race gas. Then drove to Lincoln (100 miles from Hastings) and cruised a good 30 miles there and raced approx 15 times still on race gas, then drove back 50 miles to Omaha.

If that's not daily drivable, I don't know what is

Now for the proper usage of the smilie

Sorry, WRONG. I dont know any cars that drive on race gas who are considered daily drivers. You cant even goto another town without having to plan what you will do for gas.. gimme a break.

Obviously peoples views of daily drivebale are different.
You could always go slap some stock tires on a drag car and drive it down the road, but is it dialy driveable?
And who takes the a/c out of a daily driver?

You said he HAS TO plan out what he'll do for gas. He could have raced on 92 octane if he wanted to, but there was no point.

Who takes there a/c out of a daily driver? Someone who wants to go fast, duh.

Just because Jim chooses to run 112 doesn't mean that he couldn't run 93. The truck is super fast and street legal--why are we arguing about this?!
