is there a dyno in your town? if so, how many times do you go to the dyno?
Once a month?
Twice every three months?
Once a year?
When you go, how many pulls do you pay for?
Have you every rented the dyno hourly?
Was it worth it?
What options did you use at the facility, wide-band?
How much was the dyno run(s)?
Thanks for help,
I was just curious.

I have a dyno within 45 miles of my home town but I have only been once. It was $50 for 3 pulls but I ended up getting 5. They have wide-band but it is extra. I plan on going again when it cools down a bit to maximise my results so I can verify some new mods and get a pull with the gas.

if there isn't a dyno in your town, and you've only been once, would you go to the dyno more often if there was a dyno in your town, and not 50 miles away?
thanks for the replies,

I usually go to the dyno day at FASTech in Dallas. 3 pulls for $45 and they recently added a wideband. I think I have gone 4 times over the past year and a half - usually after I make some sort of major change to the truck.

I would like to get on it every time I got a mod but I will have to settle for track results even with all the variables that go with it. Plus I think the track is a little more fun than the dyno and I can race at the track 4 times to every one time i go to the dyno.

I'm in the same boat here. I live like 40 miles from the TEA head shop http://www.totalengineairflow.com in Bowling Green KY. It runs you $100 an hour. I'd like to see what I'm putting out, but unless I did a big mod like cam/heads I'd probably just do it once.
