Question Dual-zone climate control swap???

Has anyone tried swaping the manual dual-zone climate control in their 03' up truck for an electronic dual-zone climate control found in the LT models? Is it a direct swap?

Swap this for this

best pics I could find...

edit: More pics of the climate controls...

This is kind of one of my "when I get to it" projects. No one I know of has done this yet. Everyone says that it is complicated because you need to install all of the sensors too. I have the full factory service manuals and some day when I get some free time, I'm going to start researching exactly where these sensors are supposed to be located and if I need to get a new harness to make it work.

I've heard conflicting stories on this myself. To get it to function as "auto" would be overly complex, you need the harness with the sensors in the cab, but some say it'll work on manual (just gaining the digital functions) and some say it won't.

The plugs are different, it will not just plug in. There are a bunch of sensors that need to be installed, I have the GM Manuals, and I took pictures of the pages in the GM Manual of the Manual and Automatic A/C Control Schematics, and I posted them HERE for the sake of you 56K guys **PICS ARE BIG**

i bought a digital controller for my 03. the main harness plugged right in and powered it up, but the plug for the fan control is different. i went to the local stealership and you can only buy the whole harness according to them. i also hit the local junk yards with no luck. Any parts guys that can find the plug?
