Dad and I went to the Dodge dealer saturday after working for a bit to drive the SRT. I drove it, dad didn't really care much to drive it. Different sound of course but it sounds really nice. Runs well, very quick truck. Steering was tight and the brakes were great.....really felt like it would handle real nice. The only thing I didnt like about it is that the clutch was very very soft. I like some resistance, but this clutch was very soft. Made it easy to operate it just felt mushy. It is a Viper clutch so it is stout, just the pedal tension wasnt as stiff as I'd like it. My truck went to the body shop this morning to get repaired. I am still considering trading it in when it gets done, but I am starting to have second thoughts. My Denali is over halfway paid for (I owe $23k on it) I am starting to think that I should just ride it out and get this truck paid for, then later down the road pick up a performance vehicle of some sort. The SRT is nice, but it lacks SO much of the Denali. AWD, quadrasteer and towing capabilities are the biggies (I'd miss the heated seats too! lol). We will see......but I am starting to think about just paying the Denali off and getting another vehicle later. Id be right back owing $40k
if I got the SRT...that would just be pointless dont you agree? Thoughts......

I bet the SRT 10 would be fun to drive. I drove a V10 with an Automatic
and it would fry the tires. I am very happy with my GM products and would
not trade my old 2000 Sierra for a new SRT10 unless I could sell it and buy a
new GM. I bought a new Dakota V8 and have had several Dodge products
including a Cherry 1970 Dodge Challenger big block 4 speed, and would not
go back to a Dodge or Chrysler product unless it was and old muscle car.
Compare resale value on Dodge vs GM.

plus youd have the satisfaction of it being one of a kind... to an extent. Those Dodges are badass, but Denali's have the
interior that chicks like

I've decided to stay loyal to the LS1 based GM products!
