Cousin gave me some driving lessons in his Peterbilt and it kicked ***! His only has the 400hp Cummins, but it'll smoke them tires like nobody's business! Damn 18-speed is alot o' shiftin! Got it up to 80 and had 6 gears left!

i drove one once at my cousin Danny's farm up in Decatur, it was cool as hell, didn't have to push the clutch or anything, just ram that bitch into the next gear, there were a ton of gears though.

My dad drives a pete just like that one . His has a CAT in it though I think it's more round 600hp. I Havent driven it yet , but I cant wait!

horsepower isn't the big issue with one of those beasts, what kind of torque is one putting down?

I drove a friends new Ford Sterling dumptruck with a 550hp cat 18 sp.Torque is in the 1900 lb range.This truck would stomp alot of vehicles with 4 wheels.It impressed the **** out of me.If you can row all those gears fast enough the acceleration is awesome.
