Default Drop shackles and chevy lean question

So I had the dreaded chevy lean on my 00ecsb. It was an inch lower on the drivers side. So today I moved the leaf to the 1" drop hole on the drivers side and left the pass side at 2" drop. My question is do I need to loosen the leaf clamps to the axle on the left side and let it re center. I never loosened them when I moved the leaf in the shackle.

Had to repost in this forum as it seems like the suspension forum wasn't getting many looks. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
