i run the SSBC slotted rotor kit. came with pads. truck stops great with these. even with the 20s. once pads are hot they grab like no other. im stuck with stock size rotors cause i run 15s on rear

I have about 38,000 miles since the upgrade. I like it very much. I also added the Russell SS lines, as well.

The only problem I had to deal with were the rear rotors making contact with the thin metal shims in the caliper (makes a heck of a squeal). But, a little adjustment here, a little trimming there and all is fine.

I have drill/slot rotors and have been running them since last April... not any cmoplaints except a **** ton of dust.... I run them with Hawk pads and if I detail my truck, 3 daysl later the wheels are coated again... I'll be going back to some OEM type pads this time around.

Thanks...I appreciate the input. It is nice to know that you have put some miles on that set-up and it has been a good experience for you so far. I want to do the exact same thing to my truck. Trans and converter first though. Want to add more power before I worry about stopping faster!
