Ok just bought a set of 2007 GMC wheels with tires. They are 265/70/17s. Thats from a z71 right? Thinking of some drag radials on the rear tires. What size drags can I put on that are about the same height as the front tires? Wheres the best place (cheapest) to get them?

 

You don't want to go cheap when looking for traction....IMO

M&H make some I believe or Hoosier or Mickey thompson

 

Not cheap tires. The cheapest price on a good set of tires is what I meant.

 

I run M&H DR 275/50/17 they work very well, you have a play with the pressure and burn out to ge them to hook up, wish i would have bought the 315/45/17 though. Both are 28" tall. Bought them straight from M&H, they were cheaper then the big catalog companys.

 

M/T is supposed to release a new drag radial this month. It will be a
29x11.50R18 (305/45R18), part #3786R. This will be decent size for trucks.
