Door gap adjustment. ??

Default Door gap adjustment. ??

Ive got a 1992 chevy truck. i need to open up the top of the door gap about an 1/8th inch. any ideas or help.

because it seems that everything is welded on and im stumped.

Any ideas or suggestions??

If it's welded and you you need an eighth all the way across the top, I don't have a clue. If you just need an eighth at the rear end a 2x4 usually works.
I'm serious. Open the door and position a tilted piece of 2x4 at the top rear (so that it will force the door down when you close it. Be careful how you position the wood .) and close the door with a sharp push just before it meets the wood. DON'T slam the door. If it doesn't move the first time try again with a little more quick force.
The sharp movement against the wood works better than trying to pry or force it slowly. They actually used this method in the factories a looonng time ago.

is the gap at the bottom too big??
