Default dont get it?

me and parke10 race all the time. he has a 5.3 rcsb, bruteforce CAI, with 40 series muffler with stock rims and tires and 3.73s in the rear. i have a 5.3 rcsb also but i have just a 10 series muffler and 3.23s in the rear with 22s and toyo proxes. the question is that when we race from a dig(without launching) i spin forever and he just chirps a little bit and takes off and if we do a launch he spins a little and i just sit there spinning em..neither one of us can figure out why and the only other difference body wise is i have a roll pan and no spare tire and he has a bumper with a spare tire.. any ideas?

it could be you have less weight over the rear tires try swaping drivers, swap tires.

you have less weight over your rear tires is part of it but the biggest reason is i bet that since you have 3.23s, you have an open diff. and that means you only have 1 tire pulling instead of 2 like he does.

Yeah, it's probably because you have less weight in the rear. I went to the track one time without my spare and tailgate and I had traction issues all night. I went back another time with full weight and had no issues. You also mentioned you have bald Toyos in your sig. That's not helping your traction either.

ud think that the lower gearing little less power and heavier 22s would help some on his weight issue tho, and u said open diff.. are you sure... almost positive its a G80 but i could be wrong.

do you spin 1 tire or 2? that'll answer the open diff. question.
