$4 a gallon wouldn't bother me the least bit. With my families interest in some wells, the amount of money coming in would be alot more than the extra expense of gas...

A better try might be to only fill up to half a tank for the next month or so. We're all going to continue to use the same amount every day, so a one day shot is useless. BUT if everyone only bought and CARRIED AROUND half a tank for months, the result could be a wave in the gas SUPPLY big enough to alter prices. Of course over time this will smooth out, so who knows?
I say we drill in Alaska and Texas and Mexico and friggin' Los Angeles if there's crude under it. Put a few Owls and Caribou and Manatees on the bar-b-q and drill and refine!!

Um...I hate to be the one to break this to you but...you will still be buying the same amount of fuel except you will fill up twice as much and carry around less gas than you normally do. Make sense??

Why don't we all just ride the bus or ride our bikes the week of may 15th? That would work.

Except for the fact that I don't get royalty checks from my Mom and Dad. That is their deal. I don't personally have interest in any oil wells. I do, however, have alot of MY money in mutual funds where many of them general increase as the price of oil and gas rise...

Looks like a few people need to brush up on economics and how supply and demand works in a free market economy.
