Default Does my 2005 Silverado 1500 2wd reg cab have cabin air filter??

I am trying to locate or buy a new filter or a splice in type filter for my 05 silverado reg cab 2wd 1500 5 speed.

Any ideas where the cabin air is located under passenger dash or under the hood?

Pretty sure they had stopped using cabin filters by 05.

Correct, I believe they stopped sometime around '02/'03.

I hate the fumes and dust coming in the truck.

Does anyone know a retro fit cabin air?

You should be able to set your ac controls to recirculate the air in the cabin. That would solve the majority of dust and fumes getting in. I haven't seen any retrofits for a cabin filter but you could always look under the shield above the passenger floor and make sure you don't still have a slot for one.

What year is your truck?

I have an 05 rcsb silverado to do the cabin air retro fit. Can I just buy the 1500HD GM cabin air to install or which filters will fit?

Do you have a link to where you bought the retro fit kit I see all the posts but no links
