well i dont have a truck that is as fast as some of you guys. however, I know it will hit a low low 14 or high 13 if i can get back to the track with my nitrous installed. but i had a chance to race a 66 chevelle 2 door last week. when i kicked his ***, he didnt even want to look over at me. I had 4 people in the truck and was running my 20's at the time, so it much slower than when i go to the track on stockers. but i rolled down my window and told him he had a nice car anyway. he just said thanks and gave me a look. I loved it!!!

 

I liked the fact that in my other truck with the SC I was putting there F bodys and shitstangs out of the race when I was going on to the finals. I loved it when they would pull up and shake their heads because my truck looked completly stock, and then I'm waiting for them at the ET booth. Fast for a truck you're damn right it is now go home and tell your friends you just got your *** kicked by a 5000 lb truck. It's a compliment.

 

I laugh when I hear things like that! I dont have anywhere near the fastest truck out there but it can handle alot of the **** thats out there. I have a tendency to taunt people when Im out driving so if I do beat them it open their eyes to the P/U's these days and Im not talking about the Ram SRT-10(commercial fast truck). I hate when a car guy or someone who is blind to the power these trucks come with stock and the massive ability they have to become really nasty(gasoline-diesel is a whole different book) says that Viper powered truck is crazy! I laugh! They are fast stock but you can be a whole lot faster a whole lot cheaper. I do know that us truck guys still have a ways to go to get the respect we deserve but many people are learning everyday that these new trucks are very capable. Obviously us truck guys know and real hotrod guys know!
