Question Do Yall Think I'll Break Into The 7's (1/8)

Hey yall wassup... Yall can see my mods below but, do yall think I'll break in to with set of slicks or M/T drag radials. I have 02 Chevy RC Stepside, weight reduction minus spare tire, and all towing equipment. If I can get into the high 7's it will be a headache I want half to worry about no more. I believe if I can get it out the whole with out spinning like a M/F I can do it because my truck pulls harder, than some my buddy's high 7 sec. lightnings.
Just been while since I been to the track, waiting for it to cool some. And I like to get some responses. Thanksss

well with that set up its very possible looks to me that you should run close to a 7.91 in the 1/8th if traction is there.

Do you have any runs to compare? Your mods should have you there. You just need to get some stickies and hit a decent track. What track do you run at? I shaved 2 to 3 tenths in the 8th w/ my m/t drag radials. Get some tires and show them L boys whaasssup!

Wasssup slowec..... Yeah I usually run at Douglas because its exactly a hour from my driveway to theres. I really haven't took my truck to the track since the Procharger. My truck use to run run 9:60's with ( K&N Gen II, Throttle Body Spacer, 3.42's, Hypertech, Pulleys, E-Fans, Flowmasters, Grantelli Mass Air-Sensor). I just have alot of friends with some bad lightings run high 7's low 8's, one running high 6's. Douglas is my favorite track I rave raced at all of them in Georgia and near bout the South East with are drag car. Were do you go Douglas since you live right there in B-wick. Appreciate the replies

Post up the next time y'all go to Douglas...it's about 2 hours from me in J-ville, but I've been meaning to head up there and check the place out. I hear it's in the middle of nowhere, but that it's a badass track!

I don't think you'll be able to get out of the hole fast enough with the procharger and 2600 stall to run a 7.9.

Hey Black Blown 02... What kind of number are you getting in the 1/8 with your setup. Yeah out the hole the truck wants to fall on its face a lil I can build the stall up to about 2800 it will pull good. Its just a matter of traction really what I think it will come down to. Hey I would like to get alot trucks from this forum that are in middle Ga. upper Fla. to come to douglas on a fri. night. Its under new management but there are some bad street trucks down. Keep the replies coming I just want a honest opinon. Thankss

The best i've run is an 8.19. That's with a 3800 stall, pulling a 1.77 60'

Thanks. I'm running street tires launching in 4wd. I have a 3.4" pulley making 12 psi at 6000 rpm.
