Default Do people have trouble shutting your passenger door?

The doors must seal nice and tight. My friend and I have noticed this on our trucks. Whenever someone rides with in either of our trucks, it takes them 2-3 attempts before they shut the passenger door hard enough so that it closes all the way. He has 03 regular cab and I have the extended.

try rolling down a window and try it again. just a good tight air seal. besides, the passenger side doesn't get the use that the drivers side does, so, it will naturally be tighter.

Exactly. When someone gets in the passenger seat of my truck I go ahead and crank the drivers side window down a couple inches before they shut their door. Works everytime and my passenger doesn't even know what I'm doing!

I know that they all do it, I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed it. Looks like they have.

That dent in the door thing really sucks. I've had a related story happen to me with the hood. Morons push the hood shut on my car with thier hands instead of just dropping it to shut it. I've had three cars get a dent in the hood from people doing this.

Glad I'm not the only one who this happens to. I just got keyed on my passenger door last Friday... so now it looks like crap and is hard to close.
Oh well, at least I am a Texas guy with NO tranny probelms yet! (Well, since my blowing of the tranny at 8,000 miles ) Warranty
