Default Determining Head Bolts for 04

In the middle of the 04 6.0 production they changed the head bolts. How can I determine what bolts my 04 lq4 needs?
I don't have the original head bolts.

You could use a rod or something to check the lengths of all the bolt holes in the block.

It has 04+ new cam bearing sizes. Would that indicate the newer head bolts as well?

that'll work. I'm thinking they likely changed the cam bearings and head bolt designs at the same time so I likely need the 2nd ones.

both GM part numbers will work with either! The first production the middle two bolts where shorter in length, the sencond production they were all the same.

word of advice - use ARP
