How difficult is it to replace front windshield?

Default How difficult is it to replace front windshield?

Just curious if I should try this myself? or should I just hire a reputable company; toughts?

I would hire someone. Guy we have do it comes to the dealership and depending on what vehicle it is usually around 200 for glass and labor.

I've heard of people attempting to replace them on thier own and breaking a few before they give up.

Just have a company to come do it.

Yeah there is always a chance of breaking it. They sometimes can get them out without ruining the glass. The only time I've heard of reusing it is if there was a leak.

$200 or less for a replacement, installed with guaranty free of leak. ,, I watched the last guy put one in, by himself but he had it down, it was interesting to watch.

genuine GM windshield ordered .......probably have the safelite mobile dude install it

I always get safelite do mine, they are quick and do a good job, plus I dont have to leave the house.
