Last night, my dumbass sister lost control in the rain, did a couple 360s and smashed it into a tree. stupid bitch. anyway, the back driver side is smashed in, and the axle is fuked cuz the back wheels wouldnt spin. i think thier going to total it. if they do, how do i go about getting the engine? does anyone know how that would wrok with the insurance comapny? it was a self-inflicted accident

my wifes navigator was stolen and when i was on the phone with the adjuster, we kinda haggled with the price the insurance was gonna pay towards the balance. i would imagine, that during that process, you could work a deal, more or less, say, i'll take the engine and you can take 500 off the price. might be worth looking into....

If it were me. I'd buy back the whole truck.Save eveything off of it I could. You never know when you might need a spare part like a transmission. Then I'd sell anything I didnt want or couldnt use. One it's stripped.take whats left to the scrap yard. There has got to be alot of good parts worth saving on that thing. Not just the engine.
