day time running lights? how to keep them off?

On my 99 Tahoe, I just pulled the fuse.

It is on the same circuit as the fog lamps.

Good thing I do not have fog lamps.

Also when you depress the Ebrake the lights shut off. So was going to look into jumping the switch that would control the lights.

Don't know if you ever got it done but I turned mine off by unplugging the wire to the power transformer that reduces power to them. On my Tahoe this was located under the dash above th gas pedal. The transformer is black or gray with cooling fins and about the size of a pack of cigarettes.
